Norwegian-born singer-songwriter Farao has a record coming out in September via esteemed indie Full Time Hobby (Braids, School of Seven Bells). Kari Jahnsen's work has often drifted into a world of folksy fantasy, with dainty acoustic elements layered up alongside her pastoral coo; the latest cut from Till It's All Forgotten is anything but whimsical. 'Warriors' is a positively guttural number, propelled by experimental synth patterns and shattered percussive sections - it's a powerful introduction to the macabre, but no less enchanting side of Jahnsen's project. - DC
